2019 Data Driven Healthcare - The Adventure Continues

Over three-quarters through our third year of the MIPS Quality Payment Program (QPP), and the opportunities and challenges around meeting Federal guidelines and best practices utilizing Health Information Technology (HIT) continue to change and grow.  From Health Information Exchange (HIE) and true Interoperability to Alternative Payment Models (APMS), Telehealth, cost management, chronic care management and patient engagement, practices have a plethora of options, but often no expertise on how to execute on these "opportunities" effectively.

Join us as we explore the “state” of these programs and activities, with tips and available resources to support success, to include the recently awarded Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors (NQIIC) initiative which brings $25B to the table as the vehicle to support data-driven healthcare quality improvement efforts across various settings and programs.  The adventure continues….

  1. Provide an update on the Quality Payment Program and APMs.
  2. Review the “state” of Health Information Exchange and Interoperability within Georgia.
  3. Provide an overview of relevant initiatives such as Telehealth, Cost Management, Chronic Care Management and Patient Engagement.
  4. Share tips and resources around these efforts.
  5. Provide an overview of the new Federal NQIIC contract.
